Careprost Bimatoprost Ophthalmic Solution for Thick Eyelashes

Manufactured by Sun Pharma Laboratories, careprost is used to treat the deficiency of hair of the eyelashes including growth, length, thickness and darkness. It is also used for the treatment of increased fluid pressure in the eyes.Eyelash Serum 

The ophthalmic form of this medicine is used for the treatment of an inadequate number of eyelashes i.e. hypotrichosis. It increases the length, thickness, and darkness of the eyelashes.

The careprost eyelash enhancer serum is formulated under the best hygienic conditions by utilizing the best quality of chemicals and sophisticated technology.

It is generally prescribed for…

1. Intraocular hypertension:

Used for the treatment of patients who are suffering from intraocular hypertension. It reduces the fluid pressure inside the eyes.

2. Open-angle Glaucoma:

Used to treat the patients suffering from Open-Angle Glaucoma, a condition in which optic nerve suffers from progressive damage that may eventually lead to loss of vision.

3. Hypotrichosis of the eyelashes:

Used for the treatment of patients suffering from an inadequate (less) number of eyelashes. It effectively increases the length, thickness, and colour of eyelashes.

Dosage

If a careprost dose is missed, then skip that missed dose and follow your regular schedule of doses. Don’t make up for the missed dose by taking extra medicine. In case of overdose, consult the doctor immediately.

General Instructions

Use careprost eyelash serum exactly as per instructed by the doctor. Do not intake larger or smaller amounts than prescribed. Immediately consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side-effects.

Ensure that the course is completed. Don’t stop to use this medicine without consulting your doctor.

General Warnings

Contact Lens

Not recommended to use if you are wearing soft contact lenses. The lens should be removed before the administration of eye drops & can be re-inserted after 15 minutes of administration

Hygenic Precautions

If careprost eye drops are contaminated by bacteria, it can lead to an infection of the cornea. Patients are advised to take all hygienic precautions to ensure that the medicine doesn’t get contaminated

Changes in Eyelash & Pigmentation

Use of this medicine can cause some changes in eyelashes like increased length, thickness, pigmentation, etc. It may also change the colour of the eyes by increasing the amount of brown pigment in the iris.

Age Restrictions

Careprost lash serum is not recommended to be used by the patients below 16 years of age.

Driving or operating Machines

This medicine can also cause blurred vision in some patients. It is recommended not to perform any physical activities such as driving or operating any machinery if you experience any of the above symptoms of side-effects with this medicine.

Warnings for Special People

Pregnant Women

This medicine is not at all recommended for the use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks & benefits should be clearly discussed with the doctor before using this medicine

Breast-Feeding

Breastfeeding women should not use this medicine unless absolutely necessary. All the risks & benefits should be discussed with the doctor prior to using the medicines. If the medicine is used, closely monitor the infant for any adverse effects.
